It has been 5months now since i applied for Clexane enjections. I have a condition where I have to drink Wafarin-blood thinners. My neurologist and gyni informed me that if i want to have a baby i should use these injections twice a day for the 9months and that i should stop with the wafarin as this pill causes defects in a baby as early as the second week.so now im pregnant, i spoke to the lady this morning she tells me to send the positive blood test results to them and they will approve within 4hours as this is a urgent matter. Six hours later I phoned-used up over R200 in airtime coz 1) they have a problem with there voice prompts so you get placed on hold all the time.i spoke to SEVEN different consultants which FOUR of them was Managers.. no one can help me they say I should wait a few days. They dont understand-I am on wafarin for the rest of my life-without this i can get a bloodclot through my brain AGAIN. without the injection the pregnancy can be terminated.. so now im not drinking my wafarin coz it so dangerous for my pregnancy but now discovery is taking their time with the reports. If i get a clot or if something bad happens to my pregnancy Discovery will pay forever!!
