Dr Frohlich was my gynaecologist throughout my pregnancy. I recently phoned him to ask whether a problem I had was serious and he was extremely rude and dismissive. He did not give me any advice, but scolded me for phoning him to ask this. He threw such a tantrum that I disconnected the call. If doctors do not want to give advice over the phone, why do they accept calls? I paid every single doctors visit during my pregnancy in cash, since we did not have a medical aid and this is how they treat a "valued patient"? His mood swings were just too much for my husband and I to deal with. I want someone stable and reliable to take care of me and my baby. Considering what one pays to be admitted into Sunninghill Hospital, this is shocking and should be addressed immediately.
