Over the weekend of 19-21 July my family and I stayed at the resort. Payment, including a R500 refundable key deposit, was paid in full in February 2013. I also paid for cleaning service for two days, namely 20th and 21st July.
No cleaner arrived at our unit on the 20th. We left the resort early in the morning of 21st July, so I have no idea whether the cleaner came on that day.
The key was returned and no deposit has been refunded. I have sent four emails to the address at which I corresponded, and have not had the courtesy of an acknowledgement or a reply. I am an elderly retired widow with no pension. The money paid for the weekend reunion with my family was well-spent, but the R500 means a lot to me, especially in the curent economic situation with prices rising daily.
I feel I should have been refunded the deposit by now and should also be refunded the money paid for the cleaning services not supplied on the 20th July.
I am very disappointed in the attitude shown by the administration of Marloth Park.
