I returned from France in June 2013. I wanted to return immediately so i went to Capago to inquire weather or not it was possible. Three Capago employees after checking on their system confirmed that i could go ahead with the application of a new visa. (according to Shengan visa ruling the visa is given for 6 months, however you are only allowed to spend 90 days in the Shengan area with a short stay visa). A month later i had all the necessary documents & went to Capago to reapply for my visa. Capago requested that i get a letter from my mother who was sponsoring my trip with a copy of her I.D. I returned the following day with all the necessary documents and submitted. i received a call from the French Embassy saying that my visa was rejected & they requested i come to see me the following week, i cancelled all my hotel bookings & changed my flight date and paid an extra R4000 to Travelstart. on visiting the French embassy they informed me that i couldn't travel until the first visa expired, when i mentioned to the FE that i had first confirmed if it was possible with Capago she just brushed it off. if Capago gave correct info to begin with i would have saved time & Money.
