On the 31 January I got a call from a woman from Discovery by the name of Haliema Essop. She stated that my medical aid cover will be cancelled effective immediately due to an undisclosed condition. I was not given the chance to defend myself, her manner was un-sympathetic and rude and I felt violated at this accusation. I put down the phone as she would not hear my defence and was not interested in anything I had to say. When completing my application in November of 2012 to begin my journey with Discovery from the 1 December 2012 (due to a misunderstanding of debit dates this was moved to the 1 January 2012). I had no existing condition or no discoloration to be stated in my application and I was and still am perfectly healthy. I have since then involved legal advisors as well as the medical counsil, as well as a gynacologists opinion to back up the truth that is, i am not a and Discovery has no evidence to back up their accusations. I thaught its important that the world know what Discovery is capable of, just be careful they only want your money and dont care about your actual needs.
