I am an independant medical practitioner. I have been so since 2009.
Discovery do not want to pay the claims I have submitted due to me not being "registered" with them. I REGISTERED IN 2009!!! For the last 3 years I have struggled to recieve my claims. I do recieve the payment of some of the submissions I send in, but for the most, it has to be sent for reprocessing due to Discovery registering the wrong procedure codes and registering my practice number wrongly OR the money gets paid to the patient who spends it on a vacation (that has happened in the past).
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
