On Monday the 5th of August I tried making an accomodation booking through the vitality website only to discover that the rates Vitality was qouting were different from Tsogo Sun. I called and was helped by a lady named Nokuthula. I explain the problem and it was esclated. Never got feedback until i called on the 7th and was informed to send a screen dump of the Tsogo rates, which i did. I again called on the 8th to be informed it will be sorted by monday. I get a call tuesday that when comparing with Tsogo Sun the rates are the same. When i run it again, yes the prices have since changed. I explianed to Nokuthula that they are dishonest because when i submitted the query more then a week ago Tsogo sun was charging less. All the call centre agents i spoke to agreed with my explanation, but seem to refer everything to the supervisor. Its sad that such a big company can be part of such a practice. It leaves a sour taste. I still have the screen dump i sent them.
Instead of admitting an error on their side they try make you feel stupid. They know what happened and their call centre agents also know. Un-ethical practises.
