My husband and I went in for a normal cleaning to Dr. Maharaj. She had requested for me to do an x-ray just to check up how many fillings I require. I had no problem or pain. I then receive a bill from Medicross stating that I owe them an amount of R900.00 because medical aid did not cover the x-ray. I had a normal x-ray done but a major one charged for. What I dont understand is that why was a major x-ray done when one was done the year prior to 2012 and besides that, why charge my husband and myself for major x-rays when he also didnt require one. Now having to ask Eunice to please query this, she has done nothing but tell me that she'll call me back and she hasnt. Everytime I call her there are excuses. My account is now being handed to the attorneys with regards to this and this is certainly unacceptable. I even came in to see Glida who said that she would try to get Eunice to assist and they would speak to the doctor but nothing has come of it. Medicross is now playing games with my credit score by handing me to the lawyers which is unacceptable. I will have no choice but to take this further if I dont receive feedback and some sort of solution to this query.
