Went for a celebratory dinner with my girlfriend, i ordered a pasta and my girlfriend a chicken rissoto. When the rissoto came, it was not your normal arborio rissoto, it looked more like a an overcooked basmati rice, it looked like rice, tasted like rice and the texture was rice. I've cooked rissoto many times, eaten rissoto many times and this was definitely rice. I was able to speak to the manager who told me that it's definitely rissoto and explaining to me that rissoto is a type of rice, which I know but not when my risotto was made with basmati, i may as well have ordered chicken ala king which is what it was, for R85.
