I was scheduled for an operation which was pre authorised upon the date of the op the hospital called to confirm everything while I was there and they were given the go ahead with the authorisation number the op was carried out that day about 6 months later I was contacted to say I had to pay a bill of 16000 rand which I had to pay due to my medical aid being cancelled my question to them was who cancelled my membership and what was I paying for all those months and why was I not informed that my membership was cancelled no email no sms no letter no phone call this is not fair I called to query this with discovery and nobody is listening to my story or even concerned I am not paying a cent of that money for someone elses lack of concern for me the customer I have tried on numerous occassion to resolve this but I speak to 50 different people who cannot give me answers!!!
