Continuosly being billed for a paid-up account

In October 2012 I received a demand for R946 from Liberty for an amount of R600 (without interest), which did not get recovered by the previous medical aid (Medicover). This is approximately more than 2 years after their merger. After multiple disputes, I decided to pay up the money. 3 months after I resigned from their medical aid, which was March 2013, they are still demanding this money. What does one do?
