I am APPALLED at the service MuelMed medi-clinic offered my baby sister in the early hours of Saturday morning. My sister was involved a major car accident & was taken to MuelMed for treatment. When I got saw her, she was complaining of major pain & that she couldn't move. but no one was seeing to her. After having done only chest xrays they claimed that she was fine & only had muscular pain however she couldn't walk out &, we had to carry her into the car. Because they said she was fine & they couldn't see anything on the scans, we took her home, carried her into the house & put her on the bed to rest. She kept passing out so we called an ambulance to take her to a Netcare facility & when we got there, they immediately attended to her & did scans from head to toe to dbl check. Only to find she had multiple fractures on her neck & spine, a broken femur bone, cracked ribs & her pelvis is cracked in 3 places. forbid we had carried her incorrectly, paralysis could have occurred. Medi - Clinic says their core purpose is: To enhance the quality of life of patients by providing comprehensive, high quality hospital services. However this is so not the case.
