My friend booked a table on the deck for Sunday buffet lunch to celebrate her engagement and her fiance's birthday.
We were told that starters and dessert would be buffet and main would be ordered from the menu. However, this seemed to change when we started to eat and we were told that main would also be buffet. Then the buffet was packed away before half our table ate from it. We complained to the 'manager', Wanda and the buffet was brought back later on and we were promised dessert platters for our table... which never came. I had some 'dessert' from the buffet, cake, which was terribly stale and gross... and there was only cake at a dessert buffet???
The overall service was terrible... promises made an not kept, as well as super slow.
When we looked for the manager at the end of the meal he was nowhere to be found.
This all RUINED the special day we were trying to celebrate.
I am spreading the word... Nobody on the planet needs to frequent the Southern Sun for lunch or anything!!
We were all off to say then least.
