DISSAPOINTING SERVICE TWICE!!

What a lovely venue; lovely ambiance; good food - which makes
it so much harder to deal with the disappointment in the management. With experiencing bad service the first time we booked this venue we made sure for the second time we booked that we
booked a month ahead, paid the cover charge of R25 per head (for what no-one
can tell you), even ordered the cakes and confirmed that we were coming... And
then - thank heavens half our guests did not arrive! What an embarrassment -
the venue was not prepared for us, we only had choice of 3 cakes - even though
plenty more were advertised on the menu, and the service was slow. The staff
that were on duty did their best to ease a very uncomfortable and unhappy
situation. But please tell me why i still had to pay the cover charge of R25 for 10
guests when we were only 8 and i got nothing extra or any better service for it?
Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
