Bad service / stained linnen / dirty rooms

Sequence of events:
o I booked 1 night stay via [URL Removed] for 13 July 2013 and paid upfront
o Rita calls on Friday, 12 July, to confirm arrival
o I confirm arrival between 13H00 and 14H00 on Saturday
o I arrive at 13H05 at closed gates (their websites indicates "management on site 24/7")
o Numerous calls to both Don / Rita (emergency cell numbers) without reply leaves me stranded
o At the same time the Lekkerslaap emergency number is "not in reach"
o At 13H45 I start blowing the car horn and eventually a gardener peeps out.
o He confirms that nobody is home and opens the gate. He calls Rita and now she answers!
o With the help of a cleaner I get keys to my room. Rita arrives about 15 minutes later
o The room condition (advertised as "furnished to a high standard"): Cob webs and dust hanging from the roof corners / Stained sheets, pillowcases and towels (pictures available)
o On 15 July I informed Lanseria Lodge about my complaint via email. I did get a read receipt from Don but NO response.
I advise any traveller to really think twice before you use Lanseria Lodge!
