Such friendly operators when you want to find out what they cover and what they do not cover I phoned them this morning to confirm that if I join that in an emergency like car accident, falling of a roof, stroke, heart attack that they will cover the answer was YES wow could you imagine they said the same to Eerica Joubert when they sold her the same medical aid almost a year ago WELL YESTERDAY SHE NEEDED TO BE ADMITTED FOR CLOSED VEINS THAT CAN GIVE HER A HEART ATTACK JUST TO FIND OUT THAT DAY 1 HAVE SHIFTED HER MEDICAL AID TO AFFINITY MEDICAL AID WITHOUT NOTIFYING HER ALTHOUGH SHE HAS THE SAME COVER, DAY1 AND AFFINITY REFUSED TO GIVE AUTHORIZATION FOR EMERGENCY ROOM OR TO GET ADMITTED FOR TREATMENT AT LAST SHE WAS SEND HOME LIKE A CHEAP CRIMINAL THAT CANT PAY FOR TREATMENT ALTHOUGH SHE HAS PAID HER MEDICAL AID EVERY MONTH ON TIME NEVER A RETURN DEBIT ORDER. THIS MORNING I PHONED DAY1 THEY SAID THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SPEAK TO ANY MEMBERS REGARDING THE CHANGE FROM DAY1 TO AFFINITY ITS "ILLEGAL" AS IT SEEMS THE 2 SCHEMES ARE IN A LAW BATTLE I PHONED THE AUTHORIZATION DEPARTMENT AT AFFINITY ONLY FOR A RUDE MAN TELLING ME MY MOM ARE NOT COVERED TO GET ADMITTED AT A PRIVATE HOSPIT
