Its the way the system works is the only answer you get! Well it doesn't work for me when it doesn't make sense! Their is nothing more fustrating when call centre agents cannot work outside what a computer screen is telling them and when medical aids are allowed to dictate to you when you are the ones paying the high premiums. I am currently o chronic medication which i get monthly but we are still trying to find the right dose so after seeing the doctor again he wanted a higher dose for one month so instead of increasing my chronic medication he gave me a separate script for 30 additional tablets, on going to the pharmacy it rejected the claim due to it being to soon since i picked up my last lot of tablets so then i explained that i needed these meds over and above the other ones and that i would pay cash for these. So i did but now Fed health will not even register the payment of these meds towards my threshold as they are chronic meds. So they wont accumulate them to my threshold they wont put them to chronic and refund me so once again its the member that looses. The Doctor wanted me to start with a higher dose immediately Fedhealth staff are not available after 16H30
