I booked a 2 night stay over the weekend at a place called "White mountain Lodge in Estcourt"when we arrived at the place there was no security at the gate, there was no electricity (they had a power failure) which they could not guarantee if will be back by the same day, The cottage was disgusting (old linen) The place is outdated & it should not be listed as a holiday resort. We had to seek alternate accommodation as we couldn't risk staying in a place like that. The office was closed due to no electricity, so there was no manager to attend to us. They had to refund me back my money (50%), which I am not happy about based on the facts mentioned. I had to call them day after day for my refund & I was told the Head Office does the refunds. This place is not suitable for holiday accommodation period!!! I want my money back in full not 50%, as it was not my fault they had a power failure, have they ever heard of back up generator???
