Poor, Stink service at a 3 Star Hotel

To whom it may concern,

I would like to report the shocking service at the NH Plettenburg Bay Hotel. Firstly we arrived in a musty room with two single beds. When we asked for a double bed they sent the cleaning staff to transform the two single beds into a double bed with BLANKETS.

Our dinner so was poorly cooked. The Carbonara and so called Gourmet Burger and chips cost us just under R200. The Carbonara was thick and drenched in this flavourless white sauce. What was the Chef thinking?
The Chips tasted like it had been fried in the same oil as FISH. Therefore it tasted like fish... I do not recall ordering a Surf and Turf.

After the stay, we head to reception to book out only to discover that our Bill was apparently not paid in full. We advise the clerk that we made the payments a week ago but she continues to insist that there is nothing on there system. I provide them with the proof o payments, proving that we paid our bill in full a week ago. The response we get is : ' There must be something wrong with our system'. No apology, nothing. Disgusting service. I will never refer this hotel. I am sure a stay at a Self catering studio would have been much better.
