Ok so on Friday, the 25th, we booked 2 rooms for 2 couples at the hotel and paid the deposit. On arrival we discovered that we were not on the list and therefore proper arrangements for the rooms were not made. They at least were able to give us a joint apartment with two rooms and separate bathrooms, of which the beds were two single beds pushed together, thus not being the advertisement which I originally paid for. Per room after seeing there were no towels available and requesting them, one towel was given. That evening when we returned round 8pm, we asked if there were any beverages available to purchase from the hotel? With the reply being: "We have a Jack (1 litre) of juice for R50 or there is a shabeen open 2km away in the township". The next morning we wanted to get a early start to the day, only to discover that there was no Hot water for a shower! Now the hotel advertises that it is a 3 star establishment, therefore the least they should attend to is someone at the front desk on guests arrival, bookings should be in order, there should be hot water and towels, and also when advertising it has a bar; have some sort of selection of beverages to sell to guests! Appalling!
