On our honeymoon we did a tour through cape province, cape town was our last stop so this was the grant finally. More like grant disaster. Upon arrival we went to the front desk to check in, behind the counter was a young lad who helped us. After demanding the credit card and explaining half heartedly why we had to give the card he pointed us in the direction of the lift and said we should go to level 3. we went up to the room which had 2 single beds a bathroom and a cupboard, the room was like an oven. we wanted to move the beds together the side table was fixed to the wall. okay we could sleep apart its okay, went downstairs to find out about our luggage. the same lad said we should go get it ourselves from the parking downstairs, after staring at him he said we can bring the car up unload and take the car back. So far the lad is not very helpful. we asked to see the manager. After explaining our experience to her she upgraded our room to one with a double bed and more space. I just feel for a honeymoon, paying for a 4star hotel and getting service is unreasonable. We got better service at 3star hotels like the Rex hotel. REX HOTEL IN KNYSNA IS THE BEST HOTEL EVER!!!
