I got an Reference number etc, that they will pay for my son's (Webref#2846983821#andWebref#2844999714#)Dental procedure and now less than 24 hours before he needs to go in to theatre Discovery tells me that I am on the wrong Option and the option I am currently on is for Coastal residents. I have applied for this option and got approved for this option through Discovery while staying in Johannesburg. I have paid R4400.00 for a medical aid on a monthly basis and this amount is more that half of my salary. It is now shared with me that I am only covered for life threatening incidents and the only option I can go on is Key CARE.I need someone to assist me without penalising me for something that is not Clearly stated anywere that I need to reside in a Coastal region. It states that I need to go to a Coastal Saver approved hospital for any planned procedures. I am so dissapointed that I paid that much money on a monthly basis and that I cannot even take my son that is complaining about toothache on a daily basis for the procedure that he needs. I can not afford to pay the additional 30% remaining on the Theatre costs etc.on my salary.
