I refer to my previous complaint in April on Hallo Peter re my unpaid hospital account. In response to my complaint Medshield undertook that the issue has been prioritized, proposing feedback by the 3rd of May. I have since sent them e-mail on the 3rd, 6th and 10th of May, but to date no response from them. WHEN WILL THIS ISSUE BE RESOLVED MEDSHIELD??? Please keep your promise and give me feedback, this account is 4 months overdue!

My second complaint is re account from Ampath (practice number 0520005200431 and treatment dat, 28 Feb 2013) (latest ref number is 230413QWLJ4L). When I enquired about this account I was told the tariff code is not valid, but according to Ampath the code is correct and the problem is that Medshield does not pay for a liquid based pap smear. I had a look at the 2013 mediplus brochure and no where is it specified that only a certain type of pap smear will be paid for. I have double checked with Ampath, the tariff code used is the correct code for the liquid based test (there is only one code). Please explain why you keep on rejecting this account based on a wrong tariff code when obviously that is not the problem?
