After wanting to make a reservation for weekend accommodation at Irene country Lodge, the encounters I had made me think that I would not want to go through the trouble of making a booking/reservation again - both were incompetent and had extremely bad attitudes. I made my first phone call at 11 am on Thursday Morning, at 14:30 i still had not received confirmation that i had a booking. The proof of payment had been sent through as well. After making phone call number 8 to them, the phone was put down in my ear. I am a regular client of Irene Country Lodge but never have i received such bad service from their normally fantastic staff. I still look forward to my stay there but think the attitude and incompetence will definately affect this great Lodge's reputation.
