I have had a very bad experience with Irene Country Lodge where I saw a price of a weekend for R1429 pp and when I called in to the Company I was asked to send a print screen of the details. I was told by Simangele that there was an error and she would assist me at the price shown only to be told some hours later that this was not possible. During my contact with them in the day, the Company saw their mistake and very quickly changed the pricing on their website and now I could only get this weekend at the new price.
This is disgusting and unacceptable that even after Simangele called me back to say that I could have this package at R1429, she then goes back on her word and tells me that it was not possible and I would have to make my booking on the website. She turned it around and made it my fault. As a Company when YOU have made the mistake, stand up, admit fault and keep to your word. Don't tell customers one thing and then suddenly change what you have said.
As mentioned earlier, it is sad that we as South Africans have to live with this level of service. It is okay to hand out sub-standard service and throw away clients.
Totally disgusted!!!
