Good day, i went to Russell's in Atteridgeville yesterday the 03/03/2022 to buy a bed. Sales person Kamogelo approached me and i asked if he has the bed advertised for R2700 on their site available in store and he confirmed that he does. i went to pay for the bed, i noticed that R3599.00 went off my account instead of R2700. i questioned this and the manager Johanna advised that the sales person gave me the incorrect bed and the bed that i want is not available in store, only at there warehouse however i need to pay for it to be delivered to me . i declined the offer and requested a refund . the manager advised that she cannot refund my money immediately and i will have to wait 14 days, i have not taken any bed or left the store . i am now in a predicament with no bed and no money to buy another bed. as per manager this is policy . i advised that they made the mistake not me so why must i wait days for my money. Russell's needs to employ more competent people as well as a more user friendly system for front end staff.
