I had my iphone 4S recently and after following all the advice given to me by Vodacom (they were extremely helpful) I tried to get technical advice from the iPhone Store in Gateway Shopping Centre, Umhlanga. I was told that I could only see a technician by appointment and, although the block that I placed on my iPhone 4S was for some strange reason transferred to my old replacement iphone 3G a couple of days later blocking the wrong phone, the iPhone Store staff were not prepared to assist me without an appointment. I was told that I would be approx. No. 200 on the list. The service at this store is non-existent and shocking. I would have been assisted much quicker if I had decided to walk up to Gauteng to ask for assistance at one of the Gauteng stores. It's an absolute disgrace and I immediately went and bought a Samsung Galaxy3S to get away from the iPhone with all of its so-called 'security features'. They do not exist!!! and neither does customer service at the iPhone Store in Gateway. I am totally disgusted!!
