I bought a Samsung LED TV at House and Home last year in March and broke in December and I was advised to take it to Samsung Repair Centre in Vereeniging and it was diagnosed and panel was broken. They order it but it took sometime to arrive and I had to call Samsung myself and I was told that they are not keeping the parts anymore since the TV has been discontinued and I was advised to apply for a credit and I fax them everything and I took the unit. After few days was told that they have the parts at service centre but to my surprise they ordered an LCD panel to repair an LED TV and they refuse to give me a credit. I have been phoning the call centre and their agents are very rude, they give me different facts on a daily basis and refuse to disclose their superior since their facts are questionable, the credit department is pathetic, it's like they are doing a favor to us as customers. I am doubting to repair that TV since its discontinued because its not guaranteed that it will last, secondly I feel it's not legitimate to repair an LED with an LCD panel.
