POOR DECEPTIVE SERVICE

My LG fridge has been giving me problers for some time and being nervous about employing the usual yellow pages repairer, I telephoned LG the agents. They prompty send one of their appointed technicans (IRS TRONICS) who arrived the same morning, spent 2 minutues identifying the problem and left a call out invoice for R150 which, we were told will be deducted from the labour cost should they carry out the repair. After several calls asking us to pay the amount, which we duly did. I telephoned the technican, Asif to confirm pmt hi and was advised that he will order the parts and carry out the repairs on Thurs 15th March. On Wed 14th March Asif telephoned and confirmed the appointment. Well, by mid afternoon, Asif did not arrive. On andtelephoning LG were told that before Asif can arrive, we now need to pay TRS Tronics a further 50% of the price of the parts before the repair can carried out. This was not conveyed to us by either LG or IRS TRONICS which I find most disturbing and deceiving and not something that we expect from LG.Also not prepared to pay until fridge repaired. They need to sort out by fridge immediately or refund the R150. Not acceptable from LG whom we contacted.
