I purchased a gel mask on 7 July 2013, and reported that it was not suitable on 21 October 2013.
Phillips Respironics stated that they would not replace the mask as it was 14 days outside the product's warranty period, which they state to be only 3 months.
I pointed out to them that all products sold to consumers in South Africa carry a 6 month warranty period (ito the Consumer Protection Act), and even provided excerpts from the Act for their reference.
They however reverted back that they flatly refuse to accept my warranty claim, and by implication take no account of the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
I am not sure why a company, which I would have thought was reputable, would have such a complete flagrant disregard for the Law (and Consumer's Rights).
My numerous follow ups have fallen on deaf ears!! 0
