Washing Machine bought from Hirsch's Fourways

I recently purchased an LG washing machine from Hirsch's Fourways. A machine with scratches and no connections was delivered. Hirsch's is saying that is the way it was received from the supplier LG. What do you make of this?

I am taking the matter further and would like your views on if this is in fact true, that you would package damaged machines without their connections???
