I challenge anyone to report worse service than this (and that includes Telkom stories).
My fridge stopped working a bit more than two weeks ago, so I call the only (this is the root cause) supplier of LG services in CT (Cape Town Electronics). First thing I am ordered to do is to pay them R627 for a call out and assessment before they will move at all. I pay just before 1pm. Too late(!) - the guy can only come on Monday. No time is given when; I have to jump when he calls me. After the assessment, I have to call them until I eventually get told to pay R741 for parts before they'll do anything. I pay (again). 2 days later I call to find out when they are coming to fix it. I hear 1 part is going to take 4-6 wks to get to CT. I have no choice now but to wait. I call 3 days ago to follow-up. I am told the part is in CT now. Now they will order the other 2 parts from JHB!! Should arrive within 5 days!
Is this 1879? Is this the middle of the Karoo??
3 weekends after first logging a call, I still wont have a working fridge. I call the manager yesterday: today it will be done. I call today: Monday it will be done. We'll see. One thing I do know:
I WILL NOT BUY ANY LG PRODUCT AGAIN.
