Breaking their own terms

Bought a product for Christmas on back-order /- 3 months prior and also pre-ordered from 2 other suppliers. Closer to the time and with much confidence I missed my other 2 pre-orders as the order with Phoenix Tech seemed legit. Also communicating with their staff a few times online, there was no concern raised even after the release date of 29th of November.

A few times I communicated with Phoenix Tech on this order and not once was there said I will be receiving my order after Christmas (thus after the 2-3 weeks as promised)
Only yesterday 2013-12-16 I was informed that there is a stock shortage and that the chance is very good I will be receiving my unit after Christmas.

Unable to order the product from other suppliers as it will only be delivered earliest mid January 2014 due to having missed the pre-orders. If there was properly communicated with us on this matter and when Phoenix Tech knew about this and not late as now, then I could still have gotten my order refunded and bought from another supplier that is capable of supplying.

Never will I do business with this company again and wish I could take back encouraging other people to take on this same order.
