Bad Service Electric Shock from Faulty Product

I was really not happy with the service, I ordered a Vacuum cleaner online for about R800 - I paid and was then told I must wait 10 days for the stock which was not displayed on the website.

Eventually it arrived about a week later (we needed it urgently!) I plugged it in and it electrocuted me badly and wouldn't even work!

I tried again on another plug, got electrocuted again! And it still wouldn't work!

I phoned 4 Home about it and they said that I must return the faulty item back for a new one - I obviously did not want a new one after being shocked twice by a product that would not even work. (And I don't know why i should have to send it back when I've paid so much and received a faulty and actually dangerous item!)

I asked them to please collect it but they refused, so I had to arrange for a courier to take the item back which was a complete inconvenience and also cost quite a bit.

I was refunded a few days later but I was really not happy with the level of service and don't recommend using this store at all.
