After numerous complaints to both Garmin South Africa and Garmin Europe, I have come to the conclusion that Garmin have no after sales service and don't care about their clients. I have two new Garmin devices in the family and one old Nuvi 710. The new devices continually get us lost or take us on huge detours. I have proved this by using the old and new simultaneously. The old works fine and always finds the destination but the new hardly ever finds the destination and always takes long detours or never can find an address that is requested. I have had the units swopped out and reset them numerous times. Garmin South Africa just plain ignore me. Garmin Europe keep telling me to reset the device.
Clearly it is time to take this to the consumer council and let them see if they can get any joy because garmin refuse to refund me.
