Samsung S4 Swollen Battery

For years now, we were keen supporters of Samsung products. But now I have lost my faith in Samsung support and servicing. I convinced my wife to take a Samsung S4 on the 16 July 2013. Over the last month she started complaining about the battery life and we search the web and found out that there is an issue with the battery on the S4. Last weekend I contacted Samsung call center and the very helpful operator told me to hand the S4 in at the Boksburg Service Center. Last week Monday, I booked the phone in and they told me 2 to 3 days as they are waiting for the batteries to be delivered. its now a week later and we are still waiting for the replacement battery to be delivered.
We've had the phone for close to 4 months and if the S4 has a known battery issue, why do I have to wait so long for a replacement?
I am not very happy with the service received from Samsung...

Secondly, I am also looking for a battery for my Samsung S3 and it seems like an issue as well. I got told to go to Incredible Connection and buy a battery from them? Again, were's the support from Samsung? I have to buy a grey product and if something goes wrong, what will happen to my warranty?
