I contacted Knysna Electronics to come out and do my DSTV instillation, they quoted me and I maxed their telephone quote to 4hrs at R1200.00 in total. The bill arrived after the work was done and it came to R2222.80. When I questioned the amount they told me they installed a new PVR Tv link and the labour was for 4 hours and they charged R1050.00 for the two holes they drilled through the ceiling to push the cable through. Firstly there was nothing wrong with my PVR link as it was in great working order on the morning that we disconnected it to move here and then on the job card they gave me when they left recorded by their employees reflected the labour as two hours from 10:17am to 12:10pm.
They finally agreed to deduct only R200.00 off the bill for their error but the labour is charged at a much higher rate. What a joke, I will never use them again and do not recommend anyone else does either!
