Keep away from the S4 Active

I went for my cell phone upgrade two months ago at the Vodashop in Clearwater Mall in Strubens Valley. I was adamant to get the S4. I mentioned to Andre (the consultant) that I had dropped my phone in water before and he suggested that I get the S4 Active since it is waterproof, dust proof and apparently shock proof. Twice I asked him to give me a cover for the phone and every time he said the S4 Active does not need a cover. Last week the screen cracked when I dropped the phone when it slipped out of my hand and hit the floor. I went to the Samsung Service Store in Constantia Office Park to get a new screen and was shocked when they told me that they cannot give me a new screen for the S4 Active and that it would cost me R4500 for a new phone. Here is why I feel ripped off, if I had the normal S4, they will fix your screen twice in a year for free and even if you had water damage, once a year they would fix your main board for free. Now why would anyone in their right mind take the S4 Active rather that the normal S4 if you have those guarantees with the S4 and none with the S4 Active and the cost of the phones are the same. Anyone would have taken the normal S4 if he knew this.
