We bought a Samsung dish washer on the 2011/04/20. The motor failed during the first year of the two year warranty period and was replaced by TM Electronics a service agent of Samsung. The dish washer failed again in April 2013 and TM Electronics were called out. The fault was proved to a faulty pipe, we were told that pipes do not carry a warranty and we would have to pay an assessment fee and for the spare part even though the machine was still in warranty. I objected to this and the machine was repaired by TM Electronics. The motor has failed again only to be told that replacement parts carry a three month warranty, once again we would be liable for an assessment fee and the cost of a new motor which has failed eleven months after it was changed. I fail to see how Samsung replacement parts only carry a three month warranty. If this is the best Samsung can do I may as well cut my losses and purchase another machine from a different manufacturer. I would also suggest that Samsung look at the fault history of this failed motor as clearly it is not reliable.
