I had a technical problem with my new Galaxy S4. Having effected a repair at the Samsung Smart Care Centre in Cape Town, the problem persisted. I escalated the problem via the retailer (Cell C Davenport). Within 24 hours I received an email from Paul Croll, Service Operation Manager (SA), who (i) apologised for my woes, (ii) outlined the process henceforth (iii) promised that I would have a replacement by the end of the week.
True to his word, the replacement arrived in Cape Town yesterday (I received a call from Samsung Smart Care locally), and I will imminently be swapping my faulty device with another later today..
I am impressed with the time, and effort taken to resolve my issues - and I can only hope that other hardware manufacturers can take a leaf out of SAMSUNG's book - for superb customer service... Well done SAMSUNG SA.
