Tv broken after 1.3 year... screen faulty

Hi there I bought a sony tv from game 1 year and 3 months ago. The screen showed different colours Took it in with the proof of payment. I had to call sony after 20 days to hear that we have to pay R5887.63 to fix the tv. We paid for the new tv just over that amount. What is our rights.

I called sony today again and they charging us R3641.00 to fix the tv... the screen is faulty... surely this is a factory fault from sony and not the customers fault. we have to be covered in some why and they should replace this tv with a new one or give us our money back to buy a new tv of another make that will last like it should.

we are sitting without a tv for 1 month now and dont have the money to spend on a tv again. Please look into this for us...

someone is quick to call after the complaint is logged, but never resolve the issue...

even game store is calling my fiance and shouting at him, like this is all our fault. can't get hold of dean de walle, which is the person making the decision
