Samsung CLX-3185FW Faulty after 1500 pages

I purchased a Samsung all in one printer just over a year ago. I used it for a week and then packed it back in the boxes and stored it. Today I took it out and set it up. The printer now prints horizontal lines accross the pages. I phoned samsung and they said it had to go into a repair centre. They gave me the number for CRT in Montagu gardens. I phoned them and they said they do not repair printers. So I had to go online and search for repair centres. I phoned Mantella, after being on hold for over 20minutes I finally got throuh. They also couldn't really help. After trying to phone Samtech in Montagu gardens and not getting through, the phone just makes a weird beeping noise, I have decided to just toss the printer and never buy any samsung product ever again. They have no customer service whatsoever, the people at the call centres are useless and untrained. I just wanted to get my printer fixed and maybe under warranty if possible as it has not even printed 1600pages. Still has the original toners it came with inside.
