Only a six month warranty on batteries

I took two Vodacom Contracts out one with a samsung Galaxy P3100 and one with a samsung Pocket and the phone/tablet doesnt even last half a day, so I took it to Vodacom repairs in Polokwane only to get a quote for battery replacements. I really think it is unfair that I have to pay for new batteries as this is not my fault that the batteries didnt last even a year. Samsung can put more attention in the quality of the batteries that they put in their devices so that the batteries can last longer.
