I purchased a Sony Experia Go on contract as I was advised by the staff of Cellular City Somerset Mall that this phone is ip67 waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. I went fishing in the second week after I purchased the phone. I took my phone and took a short video clip under 20 cm of water. Because this is sea water I immediately washed it off with fresh water. On the way back home there was dampness visible on the screen. I reported this to Cellular City the next day and they told me that the Sony rep told them that the phone is completely sealed off from the pc board. Two weeks later I went out on the rubber duck on a windy day and water splashed over my phone. When I got home my phone was still in working order but the on/off button was faulty. The next day I went to Cellular City and they booked my phone in still in a working order with only the on/off button that was faulty. Cellular City told me they had to book it in and it would take 7 working days. After 2 months I'm still sitting with a broken phone and they have wiped their hands off on me. It was handed over to Sony and they are also not willing to help me in anyway. THIS PHONE CAN NOT HANDLE ANY LIQUID!
