I booked a service from Bosch last week. The repair guy eventually showed up and told me that my oven was not under warranty - this I can understand as the store probably had the item on their floor for a year or so. My issue was very simple - one of the hinges came undone. I looked at it and while I am not an expert, it looked very simple to repair. The repair guy, however proceeded to remove the door from my oven and convinced my wife that all the hinges needed replacing at a cost of R1500 odd. I did not agree with this as only one hinge was faulty and from what I could see, easily repairable. However, the repair guy deemed it necessary to leave and leave my oven door removed. We still haven't heard from them in the interim. I still have no oven door - becasue i disagreed wit him. This is not acceptable and I am going to use another repair company. I suggest not using them
