I called Defy out to repair my oven. They arrived on the day and supposedly "repaired" my top oven by putting in a bulb when in actual fact it was the bottom oved that was and still is faulty and then left me a bill for R420.00. This was the Wednesday before the Easter Weekend. I did not pay as nothing was done. That afternoon i found my laptop computer was lying on the floor in my entrance hall and not on the table where i left it. I also found that my spare TV in the playroom was missing. After the easter weekend i called defy to report my findings as well as the fact that the oven was never repaired. I was told that they will sort out the oven this week but could do nothing about missing items as i had no proof and that i must open a police case which i have done. When they were scheduled to come repair the oven i was told that they will not come as i did not pay the first bill. I said i do not see why i should pay for something that was never done. Now i sit with a bill, a broken oven and missing TV as well as other items. I have phoned to speak to managers but get the run around and clearly they do not give a dam as we can see that they do not even respond on here so WHY DEFY
