Galaxy S4 not working correctly

Hi

I received a Galaxy S4 on upgrade (after having all previous Galaxy phones), the phone's sensors did not work correctly as well as there was a problem with the messaging app in 4x3 mode, where it was required to double press the space bar after each word in order to carry on typing, the text box would also randomly disappear while typing. I returned the phone within 7 days and explained the problem and was promptly given a new one. During this time my girlfriend also got a Galaxy S4. I thought i had initially received a lemon and was looking forward to trying the phone again, yet it still had this problem with the messaging. I tried my girlfriends phone and it too had the same issue. Thinking it was just a technical problem with the Jellybean software i took the phone to the Samsung store in Clearwater Mall to ask if there are any solutions. After trying EVERY Galaxy S4 on display at the store none of them had the problems that mine and my girlfriend's phone had. When i showed the Samsung rep, he said its definitely not supposed to do that and that we must take it to the Samsung Smart store. We did that, yet both phones continue not to work properly, what can we do?
