There are 4 learners at Majuba Power Station who completed the National Diploma Power Plant Operations NQF Level 5 in January 2012.
A letter dated 17/02/2012 states that the learners completed the training and were found competent and the certificates will follow in due course... It is more than a year later and still nothing. After sending emails to EWSETA, not one person even bothered to reply and it is 2 months later!
6 Weeks ago, I made a phone call and after numerous transfers from one person to the next, I managed to get hold of Sifiso who was really willing to help - he tried his utter best but when it came to the stage where he could courier the certificates, the energy sector manager apparently said that these certificates cannot be sent as it has to be checked first for, which is completely acceptable.
Problem is what the did they do for the past year and 2 months???
