I completed what I believed to be the final modules for my B Com degree in November 2012.
In December 2012 I received confirmation that I had passed all my exam subjects.
Since December I have been trying to get confirmation from Unisa that I have complied with all the requirements to receive my B Com degree. In 3 months I have not been able to get this confirmation.
As a result I have missed the opportunity to enroll for supplementary courses (if needed) in January 2013. For the past two months I have also not been able to prove to prospective employers that I have completed all the requirements for my degree.
I have contacted Unisa on this matter more times than I can remember. The standard excuse is that they are doing an audit on the results. The other excuse has been that they are attending to registrations for 2013 and cannot confirm if I have completed my degree.
