Mr Oswald Mhlanga booked accommodation with us on 25 March 2013 for 35 university students.
He initially booked for accommodation and breakfast. (see emails attached)
On 9 April, he called and asked for lunch packs to be included. I included the lunch packs and did send a new invoice.
I received a payment from the university for accom.but not for the lunch packs.
According to the finance department of Walter Sisulu University, the amount for lunch packs was given to Mr Mhlanga. Mr Mhlanga never paid us for the lunch packs that we supplied and every time I called him to enquire about payment, he advised me that finance is still busy and it will be paid soon. I called him again and he confirmed that payment will be made the following Friday. Up to now I have not received payment for the outstanding amount and have received confirmation from the finance department that the money was handed in cash to Mr Mhlanga and it will not be paid because there was no paper work handed in for this amount.
After numerous emails with finance dep. NO PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED. The amount of R9450.00 is still outstanding.
